ReIMagining DI’s Lab Enablement Solutions
From our beginnings more than 30 years ago, Data Innovations has created solutions to help clinical labs and the professionals who run them work more effectively and productively. We started by imagining how labs could connect all of their instruments to a single network for simplified lab management. We met this challenge by creating the industry-leading, vendor-neutral connectivity solution known as Instrument Manager™.
As the lab industry evolved, so did our products. Over time, we developed an entire suite of solutions enabling enterprise labs to reach new levels of productivity and quality assurance, with the ultimate goal of improving patient care.
Like many of you, our customers, we at DI are committed to continuous quality improvement. By listening to your challenges and understanding your obstacles, we continue to innovate ways to support your success. As a result, I’m excited to share our upcoming product launch that is opening new paths of innovation at DI: Instrument Manager 2023 will be available to your lab in Q3 of 2023!
From Improved Security to a “UX ReIMagination”
IM 2023 is an important update for several reasons. First, Instrument Manager has been updated with a new database, Intersystems IRIS®, for improved cybersecurity and performance. For this reason, it’s important for labs to update their software to IM 2023.
Second, with IM 2023 comes the introduction of a new web-based app framework called DI Gateway. This new framework features a completely modernized customer-focused user interface we’re calling “UX ReIMagination.” The first app to be reIMagined within this framework, part of IM 2023, is Test Properties. Moving forward, all new DI lab automation and productivity web apps will be developed within this framework.
Test Properties offers new functionality designed to streamline and ease the work of IT and lab administrators when it comes to setting up and managing autoverification rules. We’ll be showcasing IM 2023 and another exciting new release at the 2023 AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo, taking place July 23-27 in Anaheim, California. If you’re attending, be sure to stop by our booth for a demonstration.
As always, we look forward to hearing your feedback on these new offerings as we continue reIMagining technology for improved patient care that starts in the lab.
Sincerely,
Premila Peters
